Dear Pointe Estero Unit Owners,
Greetings from Fort
Myers Beach! I hope that each of you has had an
enjoyable winter. We had the pleasure of seeing many of
our owners as they have made recent trips in an attempt
to escape the cold for a few days at a time.
The months of
January and February were very productive as well as
extremely busy from both the resort and condominium
standpoints. The punch list has been moving along
nicely, however due to limited availability we have not
been able to address a lot of the issues on the inside
of the units. We have however, been able to address
several of the screen, paint, and stucco issues as well
as several items on the rooftop and landscaping. We
anticipate that this will be an ongoing project through
the end of May.
As I had mentioned
in the previous newsletter, we have made every attempt
to be as thorough as possible, however as you visit your
home away from home, please feel free to stop by and
inform me of any deficiencies that you may notice so
that I can be sure they are addressed.
We are currently in
the process of obtaining bids to replace the canopy in
the front of the building, as a delivery van
inadvertently backed into it in January. The delivery
company’s insurance surveyed the damage and has agreed
to replace both the canvas and the frame. This will be
scheduled for late April, after the seasonal occupancy
period has passed.
The Resort has
averaged 91% and 92% occupancy for the months of January
and February respectively, and we are currently
forecasting 94% occupancy for March, and 95% for April.
Maintenance and Housekeeping have been busy performing
preventive maintenance and deep cleanings around a full
house, but have been doing an outstanding job of keeping
up.
As always, please
do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions
or concerns. I can be reached at
JohnL@SunStream.com or by phone at (239) 765-1155
ext. 7005.
I wish you all a
wonderful Spring, and I look forward to seeing you on
your next visit!
Sincerely,
John Lai
