Dear Pointe Estero Unit Owners,

Happy New Year from Fort Myers Beach!  I hope that this newsletter finds you enjoying a wonderful winter and preparing for a great 2007.

We have now completed our first 45 days of operation since the refurbishment and I am very happy to announce that we had a very successful November, as well as a strong December.  Thanksgiving week saw an average occupancy of 92.2% over a five day period from November 21st-November 26th, just 5 days after reopening!  December’s room revenue was $8,873 over 2005 due to an increase in Average Daily Rate of $22.50.  Pointe Estero also received a Mystery Shopper on December 2nd, and scored a 93.81%.   

Work on the final punch list for the restoration project will continue throughout the next 60-90 days.  This work includes corrections or replacements of drapery, carpet, paint, doors, windows, screens, balcony decking, and landscaping.  We have made every attempt to be as thorough as possible, however, as you visit your home away from home, please feel free to stop by and inform me of any deficiencies that you may notice so that I can be sure that they are addressed.

The Annual Meeting was a very productive one, and our Management Team enjoyed the opportunity to meet all of the owners who were able to attend in person.  The Board of Directors election resulted in Mr. Doug Blair obtaining a seat on the Board of Directors, replacing Dr. Thomas Janik.  I would like to thank Dr. Janik for his service on the Board, and his outstanding support during the restoration project.  I would also like to welcome Mr. Blair to the Pointe Estero Board of Directors.
