Dear Pointe Estero Unit Owners,
Hello from Fort Myers Beach! I hope
that you all had a wonderful Holiday Season and everyone
is preparing for a great 2008.
We just finished a strong January
from an occupancy standpoint of 80% and are moving
forward into a busy season. Currently, our occupancy is
85% for February and 92% for March. These totals are
increasing daily as last minute vacationers are securing
their plans for a winter getaway.
 Maintenance
and Housekeeping stayed very busy throughout the 2007
off season, deep cleaning all the units in preparation
for the 2008 season. We had all common area carpeting
professionally cleaned, all landscape beds re-mulched
with red cypress mulch, and had the marble floor tile
stripped and resealed in the Lobby, Common Area
Restrooms, and Administrative Offices, which greatly
improves overall curb appeal of the property and results
in a great first impression for owners and guests
entering our building. We also had all of the dryer
vents in the rental units vacuumed out along with the
four main stacks on the roof of the building, had three
domestic hot water boilers serviced and one of the
circulating pumps rebuilt. By completing these projects,
we are seeing improvements in efficiency as well as a
decrease in our electric and gas costs.
 Again
in 2007, the Annual Meeting was productive and our
managers enjoyed the opportunity to interact with all
owners who were able to attend in person. We would also
like to welcome two new members to the Board of
Directors, Mr. Gene Riches and Mr. Jim Groenewald. They
replaced Mr. Fred Schneider and Mrs. Marilyn Lawrence,
to whom we would again like to extend our thanks for
their years of service on the Board.
We are looking forward to seeing a
lot of our owners as we progress through the winter
months, and enjoyed seeing those of you who joined us
for the Holiday season!
