Welcome!  Fall is nearly here and hopefully the cooler weather will soon follow!   We had a great summer and now moving into a quieter autumn we are busy catching up on additional improvements.

The Annual Meeting will be held on December 6th.  The meeting will start at 9:30 am in the Park Shore lobby.  We look forward to seeing you. 

We are happy to announce that wireless Internet access is now property wide!   The installations were completed at the end of July.  Feedback is all positive. 

We have been very fortunate this hurricane season, with no major storms thus far.  Our hurricane preparedness plans are in place, with regular meetings being held to review and update the plan if necessary.  Hurricane safety booklets have been distributed to all staff members.  Generators are in good working order and we are well supplied with flashlights, batteries and other necessities and safety items.  Naples has suffered only one major hurricane since 1977, and damage from Wilma in 2005 was minimal due to the sheltered structure and location of Park Shore. 

Work continues all around the property.  Projects recently completed include the installation of rain gutters on the two-story building and decorative shutters on the walkway windows. The shutters are an attractive addition to the building façade.  Replacement of the roof on the four story building is complete.  We are trimming and fertilizing plants and trees.  Water levels have risen due to a heavy rainy season and the lake looks beautiful.
 
Rental Program

We have added a new unit to the rental program – unit 140 has entered the program. 

Our recent guests have had very positive things to say about Park Shore.  To share a few:

We have a new Guest Services Agent.  Carmen Avila has joined our staff.  In addition to front office functions, Carmen is assisting with maintenance duties. Warm and energetic, Carmen is a great addition to our staff! 

Our game room continues to be a popular gathering spot for guests of all ages.   Our year to date game room revenue is $1,364.50.  Our snack, soft drink and ice cream machines have generated a combined year to date revenue of $3,222.84!

Refurbishment

The new artwork and mirrors have arrived and are being installed.  The response to our recently completed renovations has been positive and enthusiastic!  Our guests love the new look! 

Plans for 2006 include the painting of interior walls, replacement of lanai carpeting where needed and the installation of in-room safes.  Invoices will be mailed after accounting updates are done.

Summary  

Projects are coming together generating a great looking property.  Going forward we are looking at other projects that can be completed to further increase owner and guest satisfaction.  We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit.
