Welcome!  We are in full summer mode at Park Shore, enjoying very warm days and welcoming back our Florida residents and European guests here for their long holidays. The pace is slower and we are in a flurry of activities as we make improvements you can look forward to seeing on your next visit! 

OwnerWorks, our new owners website is up and running and we hope you are enjoying it.  The site will give owners access to association meeting minutes, sales information and unit specifics.  If any further assistance is needed setting up your user Ids and passwords, please contact Steve McIntire at psrgm@sunstream.com.   

The gazebo has a new look!  The new gazebo furniture is in place—the tabletops are faux granite and the new chairs are a very attractive rustic bronze, in an all- metal style with lattice seats and backs.  In addition there are two elevated tables and bar style chairs to go with them. 

The grounds have never looked better, with foliage particularly green and lush right now. We are trimming our palm trees.  The oaks are also being trimmed to help prevent future storm damage.  New flowers have been planted in the beds near the rear lobby doors.  They are portulacas in shades of white, deep pink and yellow and will provide a nice compliment to our large tabebuia tree, with its vivid yellow blossoms.  Lake levels are rising with the advent of rainy season and the lake is beginning to look beautiful again! 

Painting continues around the property, with many summer projects.  We are currently working on painting the parking lot light poles, the porte cachere entrance area and the stairwell floors. The stairwell floor areas are being done with safety anti-slip texture paint.   The fences around the pool pump house and storage area and the Jacuzzi pump house have been painted green.  We will be completing the lanais soon.  As we mentioned in the last newsletter, we will be adding decorative shutters to the building facades.  These will be installed on walkway windows.  If you would like a preview, please see unit 225.  

With summer here and so many owners away, we would like your help in making sure that any mail we receive is forwarded to you at home.  This is our busiest mail time. Please keep us updated with any special mailing requests and instructions.

Phase III is complete and everything looks wonderful with all the bright and rich colors complimenting each other.  Lanai furniture, drapes, sofas, chairs, lamps and decorative plants are all in place and the results are truly impressive.  We are eagerly awaiting the appearance of the new artwork, which is scheduled for hanging at the end of June. 

Refurbishment projects for 2006 will include the repainting of interior walls, the installation of in room safes and the replacement of lanai carpet where needed.

Summary  

Summer is a great time to visit Parkshore Resort.  Look for the property to be at its best as we continue to make improvements that all can enjoy.  We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit!
